Campaigns

Campaign management and development is something I’m incredibly passionate about as a marketer. From brainstorming ideas, to developing a plan, and executing the strategy, I love to have my hand in each step of the process. Below, I’ve highlighted a few campaigns that I have led in the past.

BCGA’s National Keystone Conference

As a part of Navient’s corporate partnership with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, I was able to lead and execute our booth experience at the 2022 National Keystone Conference in Anaheim.

Main Character Energy

As the lead sponsor of the 2022 Keystone Conference, Navient was able to turn a typical expo hall-style booth into an immersive learning experience for the teens.

I presented the idea of “Main Character Energy” as a theme for the booth experience, leaning into the summer 2022 TikTok trend that targeted teens to take control of their goals, to express themselves, and to be the “Main Character” of their life story.

Duncan Solutions - International Parking and Mobility Institute Conference

As a subsidiary of Navient, Duncan Solutions attends the International Parking & Mobility Institute’s (IPMI) flagship conference each year. In 2023, I served as the team’s marketing project manager, leading the creation and execution of marketing initiatives for the conference.

Mobility and Beyond

As the lead project manager for this conference, I was responsible for ensuring all marketing assets, including booth signage, sales collateral, email content, and digital/print ads, were delivered on-brand and within strict timelines. Additionally, I was proud to attend the conference on-site to gather industry insights, connect with leadership, and share live updates on Duncan’s social media.

Finally, as part of Navient’s national partnership with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, I was able to assist in the creation and promotion of fundraising initiatives that led to thousands of dollars in donations for local youth.

Goal Getter of the Week

As part of our 2020 employee engagement initiative, I created our Goal Getter of the Week Campaign. Each week, one person is featured to discuss their goals and the steps they are taking to achieve them. It was a great way to keep our employees connected and motivated, especially while working remotely.

No Meeting Thursdays

Every other Thursday, Navient’s IT department participated in No Meeting Thursday. This campaign was intended to help employees prioritize tasks and it encouraged an uninterrupted, productive work day. Within my role, it was my responsibility to create inspiration and promotions for each No Meeting Thursday.

Social Media and Video Campaigns - Ball State Housing and Residence Life

Throughout my time as a Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Ball State, I have had the opportunity to lead a number of social media campaigns. Below, I have highlighted a few of my favorites.

Hall of The Week

Through this campaign it was my mission to help incoming students of Ball State feel more informed and prepared for the spaces they’d soon be living in. Each week throughout the summer, our social media pages would choose one particular Residence Hall to highlight. I implemented social media tools to target a specific audience, answer FAQs, and grow the HRL social media presence.

Humans of Housing

Humans of Housing was a campaign intended to raise awareness and retention rates for the Housing and Residence Life community. Through this campaign, community and staff members were nominated to be interviewed and featured on social media. This was a great way to show appreciation for the strong and engaging Housing and Residence Life community.

Welcome Videos

Another project campaign I led was the production of Ball State’s “Welcome Videos”. Within the first two years of my positon, I completed 23 “Welcome Videos” to showcase the Residence Halls. These videos featured an interview with the assigned Residence Hall Director and complete coverage of all rooms and amenities included in the halls. This was an extremely successful campaign that reached thousands of students through both YouTube and the Ball State website.
